Gamewright Splurt! Card Game, Portable Party Game

Quickly think of something fun to play that starts with the letter S. Maybe a slide whistle or a slot machine? How about playing Splurt, the fast and funny word game! Grab a card and be the first to shout out a matching answer. Can you name an animal with 5 letters? Or a song that ends in E? Think quick, speak first, and win Splurt! Each card has a category on one side and a letter with a specific position in a word on the other side, like "ending in F." Choose as many cards as you like, stack them with the categories showing, and then flip them over one by one. The first player to name a word that fits the criteria gets the card (or cards, if there's a stack because no one could think of answers for previous cards). Keep playing until all the cards are used. The player with the most cards wins. Collect the most cards before the Splurt! deck is empty. To start, take out a random number of cards (depending on how long you want to play). Make sure all the cards face the same way. Shuffle the deck and place it on the table with the pink side up. Flip over the top pink card to reveal the black side. All players race to shout out a matching answer. The first player to call out a correct answer gets the card. The game continues until only one Splurt! card is left. The player with the most black cards wins!
