In this player versus player game, participants must navigate through ballista bolts and flaming balls, while outsmarting and outmaneuvering their opponents, all in a race to the finish line. The excitement and unpredictability of the game make winning an uncertain outcome.

Players will have the pleasure of choosing a dragon rider from the skilled teams of Harley & Rose, Ginger & Fuego, Asuka & Qing, and Indigo & Queza. Each team has its own unique story, which can be explored through the included story cards.

To begin the game, each player selects a dragon and rider, and places their playing piece on the Start Island. Each player then collects their character's Card Legend and is dealt four cards. On every turn, players must draw enough cards to have a five-card hand. There are three ways to advance in the game and several landmarks on the game board to watch out for. The first player to land on the Finish spot is the winner. They can achieve this by playing the exact number or a greater number of cards needed to reach the treasure.

The game includes an extra-large game board, four character pawns and stands, four Card Legends, 56 cards, and instructions.
